Grew up in a family that had a full-size F-350 7.3L Power Stroke. My dad bought it brand new for close to $50k in 1999 and it's got probably close to 150k on it now.At the time, they new body had just come out and his truck was the only crew cab, long bed, 4x4 Lariat model on the east coast. With a Banks Six-Gun and Diablo tuner, it's pretty damn fast and will pull anything I'd ever need to.

After that, lighter trucks just don't cut it for me.

Having said that, I'll be keeping my eye on the smaller Japanese diesel news. I can't justify a gas engine pick up, just doesn't seem right.

Having said that, I've told my dad on multiple occasions that when he goes, I don't want any money. Give it to my mom and sister. I just want his cars (F-350, 300SDL Turbo, built Jeep TJ), tools (extensive), guns (dozens) and camping gear (top of the line everything).
