While we are on the subject...
Does anyone know how the oil appears on the end of lower valve cover studs?
(A) Does it leak past the gasket (surrounding the stud) and then follow the stud threads?
(B) Does the stud hole protrude though the cam carrier and the oil follows the stud threads from inside the cam carrier?
(C) Does it comes from the valve cover permimeter and just collect on the end of the studs ("nose drips")?
