Does anyone know the procedure to activate the control unit RDC? My TPMS light was on because I bought a used 2011 S Clubman that had sustained a light hit in the rear. The "antenna" for the monitoring system was absent. I bought the correct genuine Mini part and plugged it in, not knowing it has to be activated by the dealer. Took car to dealer and was told (after paying $125 diagnostic fee) unit could not be activated because it was plugged in prior to arrival at dealer and that I needed to purchase a new unit and not plug it in prior to attempt at activation. Does any of this make sense?
