The red fan is a red flag for many knowledgeable buyers because a very prolific engine rebuilder painted all 911 fans red. They advertised heavily in Porsche magazines and managed to ruin a shocking number of Porsche engines across the USA. If they did it, it might run ok but serious short cuts and hack procedures were done.
