Well, we discovered that the new CV's that only just arrived yesterday don't fit so that was another joyous customer experience from the USA yet again! Now we have to use some old axles and CV's that are notoriously prone to breakage.
Oh Joy Oh Joy....yet again we might be foiled for this event.

I was in the first Time Attack back in 2008 at Oran Park and then entered most years after that only to have to pull out due to engine not being ready for for over 3 year after sending it back to the US so many years ago! Then I had the crash in 2012 due to suspension failure. Then last year we had to retire due to bolts backing out of turbo. So this year we were hoping for a little more luck. We're still crossing fingers but nothing will surprise me. I ordered the CV's 3 weeks ago. They're for a beefed up version of the 968 6 speed 'box.

Meanwhile we've added the last of our Aero changes to the car. 'A' pillar and doors vented. Plus gurney on the rear of the front quarter panels. The final piece of the puzzle as instructed by Andrew Brilliant. Plus I think we might have the first air cooled engine mount in history! Our engine bay gets so hot that we melted one of the semi solid mounts! Enough to toast your Marshmellows!
