The problem with drinking your problems away is that they never get processed or resolved, and then, in a while, you have TWO problems.
I'm sorry about your cousin. You did everything that you knew how to do. The problem is, that you can't help someone escape from Hell if you haven't been there yourself. My wife and I give to the Wounded Warriors Foundation, and my wife does benefit fund raisers. This year we will think of your cousin as we remember those still in need.
