dietary fiber.
been kinda doing an experiment.
going full vegetarian all week. steel cut oats for breakfast..with walnuts.
big arse kale salad, with all sorts of raw stuff for lunch..
beans or tofu at night..cooked kale (that bag of kale from costco is like a king sized pillow!)
last night, i baked black beans in water..added salt pepper..roasted a butternut squashed and mixed cubes of it into a pile of beans..added pico di gallo. a big coffee mug full of the stuff would fill you up..
you know what? there is no real hunger. fiber fills you up so much, i am never hungry. i always thought vegetarians were so hungry all the time.
not so sure i could do this full time, for ever. but it is kinda nice. let's just say biological functions are all green = go!
we have any vegetarians here? my new favorite snack is a corn tortilla with avocado.
