I'm a die hard meat eater & have been all my life. Having said that, like JavaBrewer I've found myself eating less and less meat in the last several years. I realized that when my wife commented one day that I didn't eat much meat. When I thought about it I realized my meat consumption had gone way,way down. I still enjoy a tasty chunk, but things like steak usually seem just too fibrous, slightly tough, and not all that tasty anymore. I don't know if we don't concentrate on buying high enough quality or not. I only buy choice grade at the least, but like everything else in the world, what is "USDA Choice" now may actually be the "USDA Good" of past times. EVERYTHING for consumer consumption now days is actually grades lower than in the past.
