I don't know the up-to-the-minute market as well as certain others here, (like TW), but I'd think that the asking price is in the realm for 100% original, stock early S targas. Last I checked, anyways.

That said, the mods done to this car were very popular for many years and I have no problem believing that the original owner did them in the '80s. It's all RS stuff and seems to be high quality work. The original MFI is present and the OG engine was rebuilt to '73 RS spec including MFI pump and 8.5:1 2.7 pistons and barrels. It's probably an absolute blast to drive but not sure about that price.
