Hi
As im slowly turning my cab back to a coupe and changing the color of car to give it a new fresh look , ive been doing one panel at a time ,
the first one i finished was the front right fender i took it back to bare metal i wanted to be sure there wasnt any rust starting and also to see if there iwas any previous accident damage,
So far so good,,
Then i did same with door ans all good also
But today i started taking paint off the rear right fender
I can see a bog patch added at a different time,
So i slowly in a nervous way started to sand it away to see why there was so much bog there, and its quite deep too, about 6mm.
So pls have a look and tell me your thoughts, i can see no damage, no weld, no rust, nothing under the bog out of the ordinary,
Why would someone do it? i can only think they did it to fatten up the rear in the looks department?
Red arrows show clean bare metal that i sanded to expose
Brown circles show the filler/bog
