I know TV or video coverage often doesn't give the true sense of speed when watching racecars but I don't think you can say that about this short vision. This is our 2nd (and last) lap for the whole event last weekend. Paul is still on the out of round tyres but just pushing through the fear barrier. Basically he's gone flat out down the straight hitting 250kph. Without braking he just backs off and relies on the Aero to plant the car before being able to get back on the throttle. Min speed 219kph. It's a 90o bumpy corner. Takes big cojones to do this but he feels he can go about 230kph min just with the car we have now. If we can continue to develop it we shall go faster still. To put that into perspective, the full Pro Class 'Hammerhead' (below) driven by our hottest Pro driver of the moment was doing similar speeds through there. That car has way more latitude in it's development than us. We don't even run a diffuser. Just goes to show what a great little car we've got under us and such a shame Paul couldn't get more of a chance to prove it.
