They're not excused at all and I don't think they should get a dime ONCE they've been stripped of their citizenship for lying on their immigration papers and deported. However, until that happens, they're US citizens and due their Soc. Sec. benefits, having paid into the system, likely for decades. Illegal aliens and welfare bums are another class entirely and undeserving of all but the most basic AND temporary assistance.
FWIW, I don't think someone who worked at a concentration camp is, by definition, guilty of anything. They'd need to be investigated and tried if found to be suspected of real crimes. There were plenty of cooks, garbage men and janitors who were conscripted into the SS from conquered lands. They weren't necessarily the guys setting the agenda for the Wannsee Conference.
