My daughter graduated from college in June. She landed a great first job in marketing and moved into her first place last weekend. I want to buy her a handgun as a gift and get it engraved with something stupid like..."Because I won't always be there to protect you anymore. I love you, Dad".
What do you guys recommend in a small revolver? The S&W 642LS is the obvious choice, but it's so damned ugly...and I hate the DA-only trigger feel. What else is out there that might be better?
What about the Ruger?
Yes, she has taken a gun safety course, and grew up around guns.
