You realize... 20-30 years ago this never would have made the news?
Somewhere it was reported that murder numbers are actually going down... so the media has to hype every small atrocity to sell ad space.
No disrespect to the victims... just saying this has been going on since we lived in caves... not likely to stop happening anytime soon... unfortunately.
