Somewhat ironic for me.
I drove with some coworkers out to lunch on Friday and put Cream on. They'd never heard of it. (20-somethings.) They knew Clapton, but not Bruce or Baker.
When "White Room" came on, I explained that the song was mimicking the sounds of a steam engine: the kazoos where the whistle, the tympanies were steam pistons starting to move, and the drumming was the train shifting, swaying, and moving through crossings and switches.
