She actually has two Porsches. A few years ago I bought a 356 C coupe for her, but it is still undergoing restoration. Depending on where she winds up for college, maybe she will have it then, or maybe later, but it is intended for her and she knows it. Of course some day she will inherit a few more. I want her to have the proper appreciation for them when that happens.
I drove a '69 911 in high school. I don't think it hurt me any.

Dave...just curious. I have three kids, 2 of which are young drivers. My son in a 15 year old Jeep Cherokee and my daughter in a late model Hyundai. I can't even imagine what my insurance rates would be if I put either of them in a Porsche of any variety. Perhaps not a concern for you, but are you biting a signficantly bigger bullet for insurance, or is there an angle here I'm not considering?
Sorry for hijack. Heck...I started in my mom's 71 Maverick before I could scrounge up enough paper route money to buy a 73 Gremlin (Levi's edition, of course). Soon replaced with a 74 Capri that I loved!
