I would think that a curved screen would be worse from an angle because the near side of the screen would be curved inward creating an even tighter viewing angle.
I had assumed Samsung rushed to be the first to market once curved glass became available, but have yet to hear any explanation of why it is significantly better.
I've seen both flat and curved side by side...still don't get it.
