first off, welcome aboard. there are a lot of helpfull people on the Pelican BBS. if you are going to limit your search to 600 km from Edm., that will really limit your choices. My theory on the pregalvanized (75 and older) cars is that the most important decision is WHICH particular pregalvanized car you purchase!! Rust is a huge enemy of these cars. there are enough mechanical battles you will face without worrying about a rusted out, bondoed up tub. here is a
car that had me interested enough to ask the fellow a few questions. it was across the border, but not too far. There are Pelican listers all over that are usually happy to take a quick look at a car for you, so you do not have to go through the expense of travelling to see the real 'losers'. Not sure if you have done much reading on the 911 BBS, but, i am sure every hour you research the early cars will greatly increase your chances of getting a good car. good luck, and keep us informed.
