Can't speak for Bobcat, but I've experienced warranties that are incremental in coverage meaning, the early part (say within one year) covers parts and labor but later cover only parts. These usually applied to large appliances and major automotive repairs. Since your purchase is "new", I would think you'd have full coverage of parts and labor. Just how new is your tractor? Could be you have a 30 day full warranty and parts only after that. If so, that's a pretty strong indictment of the quality of the tractor.

Best to investigate as you are doing and find the actual warranty for your tractor. You could very well have been played.
