I think you misunderstand the usage of shims. They are NOT for correcting warped cases, they are used to get the correct deck height.
0.2 mm are a huge difference. The difference between the two cylinder height groups are 0.025 mm and you can't mix the two on the same side.
How's your crank, does it turn smoothly over 360 degrees?
