Hi John,
Magnus is offering you 24kt gold advice and I'd strongly advise you to follow it otherwise you are in for some serious trouble with your engine.
I tell my clients that when they don't have the money to do something right, they always have the money to do it all over again. There is nothing cheap about correctly rebuilding a 911 engine and especially the mag-cased ones.
