Find an aftermarket truck accessory place. There is one here that has all the "salesman" floor examples (1/8 scale).
That really helped me decide on which way to go. I almost went for a roll up model but after playing with the scale model I decided against it. Too complicated.
I also approached a few guys that had the type on cover I thought I wanted. Everyone was very helpful. I asked a guy at the transfer station who had a trifold cover if he liked it. He said it worked great except in winter, often not opening at all.
