I'm just trying to be a polite, mannered, and pleasant person in an increasingly impolite, ill mannered, bitter and unpleasant world.
I was never any good at cheapass tired pick up lines anyway. I wasn't raised to be that way to anyone.
My father would be very upset if he heard me pipe off with that "$1000" comment. This is what kinda dictates my behavior in such situations, what he would have thought about how I acted to a stranger.
You never know when that stranger may be an angel...
