Hey ! it's been a (very long) while

But yep, that's what happened.

Cut, and a steel strip welded to get them wider. (you can see this very well on the interior of my rim - the exterior was TIG welded and finished on a Lathe, so nothing visible, no filler required, a perfect and low cost job : 60$/rim, the guy also needed to reshape the embossed area where the valve goes)

comment, they actually fit really well, nice and flush in the back, I'll be lowering the car just 1 inch at the back, then enough at the front to level it out (probably 1 1/2 inch) by the looks of it.

The car is still ripped apart at the moment, but it's getting a deeper makeover than expected (well, rather, deeper than hoped, but hey it's a 60s 901 body, so what was I thinking ? ), but it's getting there

should be on the road early next year/for the spring... can't wait !
