I think the db readings are key. Otherwise it becomes very subjective. Too much work and no one contributes however...

I thought my exhaust was too loud. Now I think it is just right after a 1000+ miles. My hearing is also noticeably worse. 911 3.2 with cat bypass, and custom bursch 944 muffler. More of a straight pipe. 100db at idle outside of the car. In the car 90 db at idle, and just over 100db on fulll throttle. I have a new M&K 2:1 and SSI's that will be installed over the winter.
