Why the air vs. water division? Aren't all Porsches made by Porsche AG? Doesn't the same type of engineering, quality, research go into all of their cars?
So why don't we separate the 'real' and 'fake' Porsches by number of cylinders? So like the 356, the 924/944/968 would be 'real' Porsches, and the 911 would be a fake.
Why stop with air cooled vs. water cooled, or number of cyls? Let's see, the original 356 No 1:
-air cooled
-4 cyl
-mid-engined
-lots of VW parts
So I guess the only other 'real' Porsche would be a 914. (But not the 914-6!)
Can't we all just get along?!?!
