Back in the late 70's i was working at a bike shop and they sent me to a 3 day seminar so's I could get certified by Schwinn.
Building bikes, assembling wheels etc.
In order to grad-u-ate we had to asssemble a fully functional and adjusted 1st gen sturmey-archer and a shimano 3 speed hub.
Oh, and BTW as if that wasn't bad enough the SA hub had coaster brakes also.
You gots any idea how many small parts are in one of them things?
