If they are strangers to you - don't treat women differently than men - don't treat attractive women differently than plain women - don't treat old women differently than young ladies, they should all be treated exactly the same. If you don't cat call old men, then don't cat call young women.... if you don't say 'hi' to every man in a business suit - don't say 'hi' to a woman in yoga pants (even if you think they are 2 sizes too small, ah, which they weren't).
It is really pretty simple - don't treat anyone differently based on how they look, or whether or not you want to get into their pants.

Why on earth does that make sense. I was labouring under the belief that in a free country I was able to say what I want to whoever I want for whatever reason I want, limited only to outright acts of violence, intimidation or slander.
I speak to strangers of all kinds in all circumstances, some of which are just because I "feel" like it. If it offends them, they have the option of just not responding and moving on....
Sorry, but this myth that men are somehow supposed to ignore how women look or how they dress is just plain ridiculous and pandering to this foolish idea that somehow, we are all equal when we most definitely and plainly have different skills, talents, beliefs, appearances and preferred styles of dress. In no wise are we "equal".
What we are entitled to is equal treatment under the law, we are not entitled to be treated the same regardless of our essential differences.
And yeah, I am a misogynist bigot, horrible person, evildoer, one of those nasty Calvinists....ought to be shot on sight.
