I say, great for him. I would sooner buy I car that I know needs restoring than paying huge dollars for one that is already restored. At least when I am done restoring it I know what I have. I don't know why more people don't do it this way. It is not like they will do the work on the car any way. Lets see buy a 930 with really low mileage for $200,000 then find out the only thing that was really restored was the speedo. Not saying anyone would ever be dishonest.
