Not on the down low. I tired to reply to this last night, but you generous bastages made me tear up a little bit, and I found myself at a loss for words. I cannot thank you guys enough for your kindness.
She did relapse 3 days after her first birthday. We had her home for 2 months this summer, but have been back in the hospital since September 15th. She is finishing up 2 more rounds of chemo right now, and maybe even coming home at the end of this week for a little break through Thanksgiving , before we go back in for a bone marrow transplant. We have a donor lined, up, and it is basically all systems go, as long as she goes back into remission after this round of chemo . We spent 3 days in the ICU a few weeks back due to an infection, but other than that , she has handled chemo pretty well. For the the most part, she is a happy bubbly little girl.
We really don't need anything right now. We are hanging in there pretty good considering the situation we are in. We are fine with money, and have great family nearby to help us with the day to day stuff. I really do appreciate your offers . I feel bad for my boy, as he has been bounced around like a pinball while we run back and forth to the hospital. When this is all over, I am going to work real hard to make it up to him. I only get to see him 3 nights a week , when I am home.
I really do appreciate your thoughtfulness, and generosity . Great bunch of guys/gals here.
Baby Casey thanks you also. I'll try to keep this updated, and let you guys know how this goes. I understand that recovery from marrow transplants, can be a little rocky .
Thanks again brothers .
