OK, I'm looking at getting one of two models.
One is a Kyosho 1:18. It looks like it's got amazing detail and accuracy and finish.
The other is a 1:43 Minichamps in a box with 2 cars that is pretty cool. The cars are clearly less than half the size of the 1:18, so they'll have much less detail, and since everything will be much smaller, little quality issues will be less obvious. But, in close-up pictures, it looks like it's good, but not great. But, you can get really close with a digital photo blown up on a 23" monitor, and I'm not sure that I'd really see any issues.
I think most diecast folks like minichamps.
What are your thoughts.
