Could be....but....the instructions said not to pour out the fluid that was already in the pump....well, I saw that a little late....put the pump in, and it did not do squat....luckily, it was the "easy" one to get to, in the fender, not the one under the tank....lol.....

Any way, I have 120$ invested in 3 pumps, one dud, the other 2...so far so good...

I saw a real nice looking pump, made by an Israeli mfg., I think it was a Haig? Can't remember, but it looked promising......
