I use the Lubro Moly valve cleaner and injector cleaner, on the recommendation of Steve Weiner. As a bonus, the two cans together are cheaper than one can of the good techron.

I question the idea that any fuel treatment should be done before an oil change... I don't follow this rule, and my oil analyses have never shown any abnormal contaminant or viscosity results.
