Hi folks,

any TDI owners here?

I need to replace the fuel filter and I don't have the tool/scanner to run the fuel pumps to purge the air out of the system after I put the filter cover back on.

On the TDI forum some people say you don't have to purge the system and other people say you do (just to be safe it seems)

I bought the filter yesterday at NAPA but I'm worried that if I open the system the car won't start and it's my only transportation right now that can take me to work.
