HI Guys, I bought a nice USA 911 a couple months ago, its a 1975 US Carrera #029, however its far from original. Its a currently a 965 Replica. Its been raced alot and done very well, but still a street car. It has a 1987 3.3 turbo motor and 915 trans with a bunch of upgrades, maybe 350 to 400 hp. Upgraded intercooler and twin oil coolers. All suspension is upgraded and has solid bushings.
Anyways, I'm curious as to a rough value of it for insurance purposes. I don't know if I should get an appraisal or just go with the value of a stock 1975 Carrera?
I know what I paid for it, probably more than I should have, but i know that it would easily cost twice as much to build so I'm totally fine with what I paid. I'll post what I paid for it, but first I want to see what others think its value should be.
The body is in great shape, the car was stripped to bare chassis about 15 years ago, had steel turbo fenders installed. It has only seen limited summer racing and driving since. No rust visible anywhere.
