a related article on cyclists vs. cars. Back in the '90s I used to ride 300-400 miles a week. The groups I rode with always obeyed the stop signs and traffic lights - even when we were 30+ riders. I think that was more the norm then with traditional cyclists. That all started to change when triathlons started to become really popular. Those riders tended to ignore traffic and rules and wanted to stay in their aero position as long as possible. We didn't ride with those clowns
