Yes it is actually 2 pieces. For the front I used mdf and covered with fiberglass and the rear part where the shifter is, I used the original console as the template covered it with plastic then covered it with fiberglass. It is a little rough since it is one of the first times I ever used fiberglass in that way. But I was happy how it turned out. I know I risk upsetting some purist but this car is a Frankenstein from top to bottom, haha, I like it!
