There is a lot of good music being made these days, you just won't find it on traditional commercial stations.
Probably 3 years ago now I replaced the battery on my Mazda, started scanning stations to set my presets and found these guys,
KXT 91.7 | Independent Music Radio for North Texas Publicly funded station. Its the only preset I have in the car and it's on 99% of the time.
Good mix of classic, upcoming and local artists. Weekend mornings can get a little odd as they do some specialty shows and some of the DJ's have that kinda breathy hipster style but I don't listen for the DJ's.
