My thoughts exactly. I'm afraid this will be like getting blood from a turnip in any law suit. No assets, low income, no way to pay. Win a judgement but there's no way to collect. Best bet would be to go after the owner of the vehicle and show liability in allowing an unlicensed driver to use his SUV. The OP's lawyer is all over this, I'm sure. I hope I'm being overly pessimistic, but on the surface, it doesn't look to be easy, IMO.
