Thanks Noah930
No other real pain or symptoms. I had a laminectomy 20 years ago, so I know what herniated disc feels like. No problems with bowels or bladder. And while the numbness is annoying, it is not really causing any other problems. I just wonder why that isn't getting better, and if that could somehow later turn into a bigger, more impactful problem later.
Could it just be "local" nerve damage? Is it possible for a smallish, localized area like that to stay numb forever and not cause other problems? Honesty, I think I just bruised or cracked my tailbone and SEVERELY literally "smashed" the muscle and nerves in that area. It was solid black and blue for a couple weeks.
