It's your car now, do what you like! If you like the ducktail leave it on. If you like the original, run it with that. Personally I'm partial to ducktails.

Now if you're selling the car (which you aren't, riiiiight?), returning it to original will bring the maximum $$. Since you have the original decklid you can always do that if you decide to sell.
