These are pretty much pure collector cars now, not enthusiast's cars. So I'm not sure Pelican is the best place to get value advice. But I'll give it a shot.
The problem is that prices on these have a pretty huge spread. A basket case if most everything is there is probably around $400k. A preserved original RS Sport (lightweight) sold recently for $1.4M. There's your range.
You also need to know all the telltales of a real RS, and would want an expert to help guide you through an inspection if you're really serious. Too many fakes out there. If you have the serial number we can determine the original configuration, color, options, and country of original delivery.
