Yep, all other things being equal, the 89 Carrera would be at the top, followed by the 88, 87, 86, 85 and 84 Carrera.

(the 87-89 are essentially the same, but the 89 is the youngest!)

SCs are ok, but the Motronics injection on the Carreras has always been more reliable, less complicated, and easier to work on than the CIS system on the SC. That was true when the cars were much younger, but is especially true now that they are getting up there in age.

This is even more true if you live in a smog check area.

The CIS system was basically designed in the late 60s and has been in use since the early 70s. The Motronic system is by comparison a modern injection system.
