Some good advice offered on this thread already...my .02 and perspective. I did all of the touristy stuff as a youngin' when the Saturn V was being tested on the pad (July '69) and Orlando was just beginning to boom, Spring Broked in Ft. Lauderdale a few times a decade later
, regular Daytona visits and lived in N. Fl (Jax) for a spell too. FL has a LOT to offer. Repeating some things already mentioned....N. Fl can be iffy weather wise that time of year (even down to Orlando)...I'd be flying into Tampa and avoid the east coast like the plague...between the spring breakers, speed/bike weeks, etc. the southern gulf side south of Tampa would be my destination. And I'd be avoiding touristy spots like I always (and many folks who live there) do. FL is a fantastic place off of the touristy beaten path imo...beaches too!!!
