sugarwood, thx for noticing,
On Monday we are starting work on engine bay.
Matt, In Poland we have both great workshops and fast workshops. I am an enthusiast that cannot afford to hold on to a porsche 911 (at leas till i sell my rallye mercedes). Thats why I buy them, enjoy owning them for a while, and than sell them changing the time I spend in the evenings working on them into profit.
Im happy to drive them after I sort them out before the buyer comes.
There are time consuming things that I do personaly, undress, put together, prep, fight rust, trim, interier, easy mechanics like brake calipers, axles, shift rod shaft seals seals, ventilation, etc.
But there are things that I leave to the professionals I trust, to take care of.
Body work, welding, painting, dashboard stitching, all that needs to be done by professional that
1. Has time and is not in a hurry
2. Does it my way, under my supervison,
Of course sometimes I can be wrong, or some things cannot be done like i would like them to be, but I belive that overal, i do good job.
I have one big flaw , I talk to much, and sometimes scare of customers but then I get to drive the car a little bit longer.
This is my 3rd Porsche (has w123 mercedeses before[youtube search :Carlsson Kielce Classicauto])
The 2nd showed up to need proper bodywork, tin work, and lot of work before paintshop and selling. But I cant sell crap, couse i cant lie too good.
But 2nd has a great engine in the back with hydraulic tensioners and 67000 miles, and is going to be back to Platinum original color.
