I was there more than 25 years ago.
It was the first time I had "authentic" Japanese food. I'll never forget the experience. Absolutely wonderful.
I don't remember much about the location of the restaurant but it was in the centre of town near a grey high rise building with Chrome Arabic writing on the outside.
It was also the first time I visited a Muslim country and the site of proper Arabs in full Arabic clothing was almost shocking. I'm guessing they were "investors.
They mostly drove or were driven around in English made cars. RR & Lotus were common.
