My wheel bearings were one of the first things to go when I returned my long-garaged-in-California car to NY's roads back in 2002. Innocently enough I called the dealer and IIRC I got a quote for 18 hours of labor. Needless to say I did them myself, removing them from the car and then needing an alignment etc. First of many projects (most elective), but I do still curse in those wheel bearings' general direction. |
That's funny. I was thinking the same thing as I was posting this morning. I haven't had the pleasure yet but, it looks like a total PITA
