The more I look at this, the more I'm inclined to believe the wheel did come off first and that it is not a simple bond failure ( I happen to be a forensic engineer
) . There had to be a big impact on that joint for the inner lug stub to tear through the bottom end of that carbon tube. Whatever the case, that's a scary crash!
It's also interesting that the weave on your frame is completely different from mine and other Carbones I've seen. Your's has a tight square weave where others have a diagonal wrap/weave like one of these two:
