Ferrari Daytona! The 928 is kind of like a modern day Daytona. It packages brute power in a very well done package not larger than a Daytona. With a 5 speed the execution is not far off. The aluminum coach work is far better than the Italians and the front end reminds me of the Miura I had 15 years ago. It handles better than the Miura. Parts are easy and even cheap on the used market. There was a day when I had $1000 - $3000 used Ferraris. Then the rest of the world discovered them and I was put out of the ball game. My S 4 does an honest 168 mph out of the box and I while I only did it once, it was rock solid. Damn good German Ferrari Daytona! How about a competizion 928 with plexiglass windows, racing seats, stripped interior, comp suspension, a real monster that given just a hotter cam could more than stay with the Daytona on any venue.
