Location: Placerville, CA.... You know, the only place on Highway 50 between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe the you find signal lights. Above the fog most of the time and I can see the stars of the Milky Way 8 out of 10 nights. Kinda cool.....

It's too bad it's not available to stream on Netflix.

The wifey got this for me last year....... A cherished prize.

Although it was before I lived in Corona, CA. I was told they filmed some of the flying scenes over the Lake Mathews Resivoir. Saw many very cool rare WWII planes fly out of Chino. Including the Northrop Flying Wing two years before its official unveiling. Drove my batty trying to "ID" a mystery aircraft when others would look at me like I was 5150. Although there was some personal satisfaction when I was able to say " I was right *****es!!!!"

Several years back, I caught wind of a Vans-RV3 that was for sale that was allegedly owned by Boyington. Imaging sitting in the same seat as him...
